Personal Portfolio

AAG design is owned By Andy Gay, Prior to opening the studio I’d spent the previous 10 years working for local architects practices and Property developers in an architectural role. My personal portfolio is as follows:

2008-2009: During 2008 and the early part of 2009 prior to creation of AAG Design I was working as an architectural Technologist for Axiom Architects. Whilst at Axiom I worked on a variety of projects for the Whitbread Group most notably producing the planning, Building regulations, Tender and construction drawings for the conversion of Sir Alan Suger’s redundant 12 story office block into a 122 bedroom hotel.

2005-2008: At the beginning of 2005 I was approached by the directors of Fluid design Group to join their rapidly growing team in the Role of Senior technician. During the three years I spent at Fluid Design I was involved In producing planning and construction drawings for a large variety of residential schemes varying from single houses to construction packages for sites of 135 houses and apartments, Including working with Affordable housing and listed buildings.

2002-2004: during 2004 and 2005 I worked as an architectural technician for Peter Taylor Associates getting my first experience of producing construction drawings and details for various large property developers including Rydon Homes and St James Homes.

1999-2002: Having left college in the summer of 2002 I was giving my first opportunity to work in an architectural environment within Honeygrove Properties Ltd in house architects department. Honeygrove was principally a high end property developer but also had an in house special projects team specialising the refurbishment and alteration of historic and listed buildings.
